SCHOOL

You spend your entire years of education
From childhood till graduation
Watching a teacher explain with fascination,
He's talking about endless boring information,
By that time you’ll have a million interrogations
But you’re too reluctant to ask the teacher for an explanation,
Then he suddenly yells at you, tells you to wake up,
enjoy the lesson and keep the participation
Then he says: "in the exam, you answer clearly
with no imagination, no inclination!"
So you go home and spend the entire night internet navigation,
An eye on the screen, an eye on the copybook and suddenly
you have a facebook invitation!
Then you go to bed and in the morning you’re rushing to the bus station...
Bored, mad, scared, going to a place called school with no motivation.
You enter quietly with a weird eye observation,
Then your friend suddenly surprises you with an Arabic presentation,
It was a homework but you all forgot and came with no preparation.
The headmaster always in the front door for apron verification,
Of course, if you're a girl neither way an apron for a boy is no obligation,
Early in the morning you have a history class
Where you study about immigration,
A lesson I was taught when I was 7 and probably till graduation
And then it gets worse when you have an oral examination...
No, not where you orally express yourself
But where you recite tons of previously written information,
Class after class finally comes the bell of recreation,
You watch everybody rushing out like it’s some sort of a war domination:
From love declarations to nerdy conversations,
to bullying collaborations to pre-baccalaureate celebrations.
The next class you have your marks back,
you could have had an excellent preparation
and still only got 12 why? Because you forgot the punctuation.
Basically, a student is miserable the entire learning duration,
Even in physical education from fast blood circulation to solar radiation
And that math class with all the calculation
And that English hour from to 11 to 12 where you die of starvation
Not to mention that a single act out of dictation
Could get you straight to administration
With a bonus parent invitation.
With all that being said they still ask
Why are the pupils rushing for vacation!
When I was a kid I was told school could build a nation
That my only savior in life would be my education
That teachers are my second parents...
That people there would help my self's formation
So I pictured school as a home, sadly I had a terrible accommodation
At the age of 15 I was asked to pick my orientation
The youth of a lively teenager was considered unaccepted agitation
Soon I was a number in a register within a numerous population
They cared so much about my presence when my mind was absent
and my body was a plain class decoration
They taught me knowledge was only attained by compensation
A mark or an average or a certificate of graduation
It's funny they even thought my memory needed an evaluation
Intelligence was a sheet of paper marked with red
that decided whether or not I had the qualification
Me and my friends were ranked from first to last
with a smart and dumb classification
And all the inconvenience was caused by a lack of reasonable communication
Stop the time and the bell from working and sit on a carpet in the courtyard where we have a dreamy conversation
I'd say I always questioned myself..why did I ever for being seconds late
or forgetting to do my homework needed a justification?
Because I was born eager for learning yet I lost interest
when learning became sheer obligation
And I'd add that a table and a chair within four walls is a good place for studying only when the copybook is my imagination...

JUST ONE WISH !

I am the last voice of dignity
I am just the conscience of humanity
Why are poor people eliminated from society?
Wake up nation and welcome in reality
Millions are suffering and feeling cold
While none forgets to give pets a hold
Those innocent souls are waiting for a beam
Just a new sunshine covering a deep scream
It’s their wish – don’t they have the right to dream?
Eyes learnt to see nothing but the dark of night
So why keep searching for the ray of light?
It’s easy to say never give up and hold on tight
’cause you’re not the one who tried the painful bite
They are out of soul; you can notice that at first sight
They tried so hard not to show
Even when they were uncovered under the snow
Feeling the cold dominating their weak bodies
But won’t let you know
Till the day when their hearts will blow
When they won’t feel like a plastic bag
Drifted through the wind and never nag
That day seems to be far away
Just when the world learns how to say
We’re all equal and that’s how we’re gonna stay
That’s when you’ll see a smile of glory
Translating you the happy end of the story…

What’s the point of living

What’s the point of living

If you didn’t have someone by your side?

What’s the point of trying

If you’d still be terrified?

What’s the point of hoping

If hope didn’t stop you from losing your mind?

What’s the point of trusting

If everybody around you lied?

What’s the point of writing

If indifference would be all that you find

Had you been more careful

You would’ve seen how pride

Has made of you a big blind!

Had you been more grateful

You wouldn’t have denied

All the blessing God has to provide

If you want to be useful

Just swallow your pride

You’ll see how life would be such a nice ride

As we grow up, we learn that life isn't all about being the leader of the dinghy because it may be broken and sink, we learn that life isn't all about being the Army Commander, because he may be shot and killed; instead it's all about being strong and powerful, it's all about being satisfied and ... happy ..That's why we run then we fall, we stand, we run and we fall again, we move and we fall .. and we keep fighting! Fighting this world which is teemed with fear, fighting this time which is full of envy, fighting those people full of grief, fighting this dreadful life .. without anyone here ..LONELY .. Yes .. LONELY we are! SELFISH we are! GROOFY we are! CREEP we are!All what we want is a happy life, but we forget that we can't have a rainbow without rain! All what we need is love, but we neglect that we can't have passion without pain! All what we admire is being satisfied, but we will never be as long as greed keeps runing in our veins ..
